Department Characteristics

 
The Department of Cultural and Creative Enterprise Management is part of the College of Management. Our teaching and research about the cultural and creative industry is anchored on marketing and management. We endeavor to develop professional talents in the marketing and management for the cultural and creative industry. Our focus is as follows: the editing and production of multimedia and digital contents, the marketing of digital publications, the appraisal and assessment of market risks in the cultural and creative industry, tourist planning and marketing by taking into account the cultural and creative resources, and operation, marketing and management of cultural and creative companies. In sum, the Department of Cultural and Creative Enterprise Management is a faculty offering learning and research opportunities in the marketing and management of the cultural and creative industry, in line with the Taiwanese government’s agenda in economic growth and industry development. 

The key focus of our curricula is as follows: 
1. Integration of marketing and management expertise and literacy in the cultural and creative industry as a competitive advantage; 
2. Planning and design of the cross-disciplinary and practical curricula and teaching strategies; 
3. Strengthening of financial and appraisal expertise as a management competence for the cultural and creative industry; 
4. Combination of the capability in digital content editing and compilation and the marketing knowhow for tourism as part of the creative and cultural industry; 
5. Dual-mode employment model: entrepreneurship and employment in the cultural and creative industry.
